It defends well! |

I dropped my first iPhone and shattered the screen. I'm quite clumsy so when I replaced the phone I asked the guy at the Apple store what he recommended for me and this was it. Not a pretty case and it's quite bulky but I have dropped it multiple times, even down cement stairs and not a problem has come from the phone. |

DO NOT buy the case for the belt clip! |

Two (2) days after I purchsed this case the belt clip broke. The case protects great, but if you're looking for a belt clip to carry it, look elsewhere. |

Shattered iPhone screen no more |
A few months after I bought my first iPhone, it slipped from its cover and fell on a concrete sidewalk. Of course, the screen smashed into smithereens. I painfully had to replace the iPhone for $200. An Apple employee recommended that I purchase an Otterbox online. I had never heard of this brand, so I looked it up online, and learned about the three layers of protection. I decided to purchase it, as I was not willing or able to spend $200 every time the iPhone fell to the ground.
I am very happy with my purchase. It is true that this item is bulky and unsightly, and the water mark can be annoying at times. Nevertheless, the protection offered by the Otter Box outweighs any negative aspect. In fact, two of my friends have purchased the Otter Box based on my recommendation. |
